For over 25 years, I've had the privilege of supporting professionals in nursing, teaching, and caring roles.
I'm passionate about helping people take control and improve their lives. That's why I created Self Hypnosis UK – to make effective hypnotherapy solutions accessible to everyone.

I hold UK qualifications in Counselling and Hypnotherapy, having completed a rigorous four-year training programme. Combined with my extensive experience in face-to-face therapy, this background ensures I can offer the highest standard of support.

Self Hypnosis UK provides downloadable recordings as a form of self-help therapy. These recordings are based on the proven clinical approach I've developed over the years.

Hi, I'm Alan Shinwell, and alongside my wife Sharon, we run Here To Listen Limited and selfhypnosisuk.com. We're a true family business, built on a shared desire to help people improve their lives.
My background is as varied as the challenges our clients face. While I'm a retired counsellor with a qualification in counselling (ABC Diploma, 2006), I also have extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business management. Having owned and run a successful manufacturing company myself, I understand the pressures of leadership, work-life balance, and the unique stresses that come with managing a team.
These days, my focus is on ensuring our online store runs smoothly. Whether it's managing our CD and download sales or promoting them online, I'm dedicated to providing a fast and dependable service.
